HOLD THAT POSE

{vintage polo, checkered shorts, ecco ankle boots // hype this look on }

Probably one of *the* coolest opportunities blogging has given me happened last Thursday. I was invited to "model" for the drawing class of Raffles Design Institute Manila. Since I didn't have work that day, I decided I'd give it a go - what have I got to lose right? :) I found out that holding a pose for 15-30 minutes isn't as easy as it seems! No wonder paintings from the olden days seldom have smiling poses, haha! Centuries later though, there's still nothing quite like a handmaid picture. :)

class photo with Buz and the talented Raffles students I got the chance to meet and have lunch with: Nikki, Carmela, Chris, Pearl, Bai and Steph :) They were all really nice and fun to be with :)
posing for a drawing class is quite an experience :) it's not everyday you sit/stand and have 6, sometimes 7-8 people observing you and drawing you. Not only was I able to try something new and meet people, I also got to take home these beautiful pieces:
**these pictures do not do justice to these works. I'll do my best to repost with photos taken with better lighting. :))**
