HABANG ATIN ANG GABI
{top from bangkok, diy cutoffs, pill shoes}
No, this entry is not gonna be sappy like the South Border song of the same title. Far from it, actually. I just thought a Filipino title would be appropriate since my friends and I spent Saturday night going around the capital and visiting some monuments. #itsmorefuninthephilippines
We are young, we run free, stay up late, we don't sleep. Got our friends, got the night, we'll be alright.
first stop: the Mall of Asia Ferris Wheel
someone's really happy to finally be able to ride!
driving along Roxas Blvd. Ermita area. Our sabaw conversation in the car: saan kaya yung maliit na eskinita kung saan nasagasaan yung kamukha ni Paraluman? (Eraserheads reference)
second stop: Rizal Monument in the Luneta Park (my first time here!!! no joke)
we then Amazing Race-d our way to this fountain coz it was gonna close in a minute. Was able to snap only this pic :)) I really didn't know we had a fountain there! haha this made me miss Białystok :(
third stop: Penguin in Malate where the three of us made a pact to taste everything on the menu :))
final stop: Edsa People Power monument! we've all passed this but how many of us have actually tried going here?! :D
until next time!!!
That evening also made me wonder til when we'll be able to go on our crazy spur of the moment trips.. I mean, it's not like we're young forever, right? Gotta seize the moment while the night is still ours, habang atin ang gabi.
xx
