FOODIE DIARY: SPATHE PUBLIC HOUSE

The weekend is coming up and we all know what that means -- oversleeping BRUNCH! In case you need suggestions on where to go, let me point you to this quirky yet cozy eatery in the River Valley area. Spathe Public House offers a Brooklyn inspired experience with plates that are meant for sharing. They use bold flavors and fresh ingredients to ensure that every meal is satisfactory... and satisfied Pooja and I were. ;)

with my brunch date Pooja

bricks and bottles of wine

instagram that Bloody Mary!

you know how most unfinished, industrial spaces feel cold? Spathe's interiors actually feel warm and cozy :)

our pitcher of Sangria looks mammoth compared to the glasses

the Sangria doesn't lack any fruity goodness

the mountain of Spathe Garlic Fries was highly (pun intended) worth it at $8

my super refreshing kiwi fruit juice

Crispy chicken leg with texan sauce waffle for Pooj

Eggs Benedict for me. it took long for my order to arrive coz they originally burnt the bacon and had to re-do everything (according to the server), good thing it was yummy!

Ended our meal with this glorious slice of carrot cake. This is probably the best in Singapore so make sure to drop by and enjoy a slice or two (or three, or the whole cake, haha!)

a quick look at the menu :)

Spathe Public House is located at 8 Mohamed Sultan Rd #01-01, 238958
