And just like that, another weekend has come and gone. Coming from freelance work where clients know no weekends and holidays, I have come to appreciate my Saturdays and Sundays off. Granted I don't get all Saturdays, but how can you not look forward to the weekends?! By Thursday night, I'm already excited for the upcoming days - even if my plans are just to bum and sleep.

But mostly, my plans include eating. This is actually two pronged as a) they say the best way to know a city is through its belly and b) I love food! Although it is first and foremost a form of nourishment, I believe it is meant to be enjoyed. Hence, weekend plans include asking what cuisine and which part of Singapore before zoning in on a particular eatery. Recently, we decided to celebrate the weekend with a literal TGIF moment - a meal at TGI Friday's.
