CHIC NOMAD
{maxi dress from Details}
On a not so distant island, I found myself absolutely smitten by the idea of one day surrendering to wanderlust and just travel, travel, travel.. I think reading the novel Eat Pray Love strengthened my desire to live in a different place for a month or so and just immerse myself in its scenery and culture. I brought this topic up with fellow stylist Belle a few months back and she said if she were to live somewhere else, she wanted to live in Boracay. Being in Boracay, I completely understood why she was absolutely in love with it. It was beautiful to the eyes, the vibe was so chill, people were nice, and food was good. The place was just totally in synch with her personality. Being in her island paradise made me want to go and find my metropolitan haven that until now, I'm still toying with the idea of booking a flight to some place I've never been, do some solo traveling, and just experience that destination.
1. Mandala Spa where I got to try out their Watsu massage which was an overwhelming experience that you have to try for yourself
2. lounging at one of the Sur cabanas and showing off my henna tat
3. prawns!!! mmm
4. that's how tricycles there get gas - through coke bottles!

Looks amazing, doll. My fam is from Cebu and I absolutely love it there. I haven't been back in 5 years. I was born and raised here in California, but I love visiting.
