CURRENTLY No. 11
Hallooo, welcome to a very special edition of Currently aka: the long overdue comeback. My last one, was back in August 2015? Hehe! The past few days have been difficult. Remember when I said I was gonna shun human contact for the next 12 hours? It became 5 whole days. Turns out I have Mild Bronchitis. Whether I was just lucky enough to catch the virus or it had actually evolved from my throat infection, I'll never know for sure, but let me tell you something, mild is a freakin' understatement. Moving and TALKING have been so unbearable in the past few days, not that I've had voice to begin with. Imagine just walking from the bed to the washroom and panting like you've been running up the stairs. What's worse is lying in bed then suddenly feeling and HEARING your heart race loudly. I swear after this whole ordeal, I'm gonna lead a better, healthier lifestyle. I'm not yet 100% back to normal - I still need to catch my breath when walking my normal pace, but I'm better than the previous days, and that speaks loads.
Life Lately:
1- My usual defense as well as prescription antibiotics. Sometimes, you really have to see the doctor
2- Luke being the bestest boyfriend in the world, bringing me dinner every night since I've been cooped up. Since I'm not allowed to bring guests over, we've been meeting at the block's foyer. How lucky can I get!?!
3- My favorite notebook for which I do outlines and most of my "writing", because of course, CAN LAH!
4- My righthand nightstand which isn't always as tidy
5- The fluffy white cloud I call my bed which I spent 115 of the last 120 hours
6- The (already chipped) manicure I've mentioned here
7- My favorite color scheme translated to nail lacquers
8- The view from my living room coz Luke insisted I spend time outside my bedroom to catch some fresh air, coz sadly, I don't have a window. It was upon doing this that I noticed the sea is actually visible(!). Far but visible
9- And of course, my lovely lovely bedroom which I've learned to appreciate more and more

Whew. That was a long post. Told you I wanted to make up. And I guess this is my way of letting out stories I've been wanting to talk about but can't coz of physical constraints. Hehe! Hope everyone has a good rest of the week and please remember to always be mindful of your health. Prevention is better than cure, so toughen up your immune system and load up on nutritious food and vitamins. And, EXERCISE. Those are definitely the things I'm looking into once I can.
Oh I hope you get well soon! I always promise myself to start a healthier life but one day later I go: "Oh There's chocolate in the fridge!". Oh and I love the Spotify playlists :D
ReplyDeleteMine's the same but with chips! Haha! Thanks Malin :)
