EAST COAST (ROAD) CHILLIN'
{wearing: jumpsuit from Bali}
I didn't get it at first, the way Singapore, being a small island and all, could rouse strong feelings within its inhabitants about residing in the east or the west. It's not like the United States where time zones separate the two coasts but after some time (and perhaps some brain washing,lol), I get it. The east and the west are different. Those from the west say the west is great and those from the east are more biased to the east - like me! I can't really give objective points why living in the east is better as I haven't really tried staying in the west, so to be objective, I'll just say nothing beats living central (Beach road!). But central is really subjective since Singapore is tiny and everywhere is relatively central. But I digress. So yes, back to why I love the east - EAST COAST ROAD, something the west doesn't literally have. :p It's actually just your typical commercial street but what sets it apart is that my favorite things - mexican food and good coffee - are just right next door to each other. That easily makes it an A+ street in my books.

The kitchen sink burrito is a must and it's good for sharing. It's packed with yummy goodness and their menu blurb got it right - it's got everything!
The beef quesadillas were also delicious and filling. Love their huge serving of sour cream and guacamole aside from just salsa.
It might not look much, but it filled up two tummies to the brim! Our tastebuds were very happy too :) Next stop, coffee.

they have an ample array of pastries and dessert but at this point, we were already too full.
However, one cannot say no to a cookie ice cream sandwich. They have a lot of flavours to choose from, all of which equally mouthwatering and is made even more special with their berries and chocolate drizzled presentation.
The cafe is almost always full so if you're not lucky enough to chope a table, you can tao bao too!
All smiles after a good meal :) We love the east!
xx
I really like your dress! food looks so good!
