Recently had Sunday brunch at Skyve coz I was craving for the
berry french toast I had there almost a year ago. As luck would have it, they've changed their menu. Not to fret though, this was where my
caesar salad phase began as theirs were sooo good (parma ham and those garlic croutons! *drool*) although the serving was quite small. Also had the banana nut french toast whereas Mr. F&B Extraordinaire had the wild mushroom soup and the open faced minute beefsteak sandwich. We went there the Sunday of
CNY weekend and I wanted to keep it uber casual with a tank top and my favourite pair of cut-offs. Pop of red thanks to the
prettiest.
Since moving here, I have learned how very important brunch is. More than the yummy food, brunch is about taking time to chill and catch up with good friends. For me, this also means discovering new places and getting more and more familiar with Singapore directions and roads.
xx
