Isn't it great when people finally do that one thing they've always been wanting to do? I honestly feel my heart expand with joy for these people - no BS! I loooove it! I guess coz I know what it's like to be inexplicably overcome with a desire to do something that's seemingly against the odds or not really feasible yet. And knowing how much they wanted it - and how long they've been mentioning it - makes me so happy for them and at the same time hopeful for myself too. Glad to have been reminded today that it may take a while but anything you set your heart into is damn possible - be it seeing the Eiffel Tower face to face, backpacking around Asia, going to grad school, getting that foreign service certification, or in my current case - the New York dream.
