AIR CAFE NAGOYA
Dubbed as the most boring city in Japan – Google’s findings, not mine! – one goes to Nagoya without any expectation. It’s not as modern as Tokyo, nor as traditional as Kyoto. We arrived late in the afternoon, with only about 3 hours to spare before the last train to Osaka. We saw the Nagoya TV Tower from a far, but other than that, we didn’t get to see much. We did, however, have a lovely dinner at one of the most charming cafes I’ve ever stumbled upon – Air Cafe. Situated in the ground floor of an ivied building, it’s a quaint little cafe (25 seater according to, again, Google) that is as cozy as it as chic. The atmosphere is just so relaxed and classy that I can see myself there catching up with the girls, grabbing a few drinks with friends, on a date, blogging with just my laptop – basically any and every sort of scenario applicable to a cafe. It was a very quick visit that made me curious about what else is there in Nagoya. I mean, if the most boring city has the most charming cafe, what other hidden gems might it be keeping?? Would love to hear your thoughts and tips!
