FOODIE DIARY: SABOTEN
A foodie photo diary of one of my favorite places in Singapore - Saboten over at Changi Airport Terminal 1. My boyfriend and I love our japanese food so we often take advantage of the Changi staff menu available to airport pass holders. Not only is it close to work, the staff is friendly and efficient too! But more than anything, the food is really good! I personally love their tonkatsu, crispy batter yet juicy and tender on the inside. It's so good that even when it's in katsudon form, it retains its crisp - a feat most places cannot accomplish with the egg drenching the pork and all. Not really surprising since they've been in business since 1966. How much more proof do you need?! Meals come in a set including green tea, cabbage, rice, miso soup and ice cream. Nom nom nom!
Oh, and fun fact, saboten means cactus.
Saboten is located at Changi Airport Terminal 1, Departure Check-in Hall Level 3, Singapore
