Whatcha think of the new site? I've been parked on this corner of the internet since 2010 and throughout the years, this page had undergone several layouts. In those almost 5 years, I've never done drastic back to back changes until 2014. For me, how you present your content is as important as the content itself and they must always be in harmony. This year, I've struggled with deciding the direction of this blog and it reflected on the fickleness of my design templates. Let's face it, I've grown up and my writing style has too so this blog has been dying for a revamp that can showcase just that.

Although starting out primarily as a style blog, it has evolved to focus more on my different passions such as traveling, food, and yes - writing itself. This blog is a bit more word-heavy as compared to how it started out. I share more thoughts than ootds and I know not everyone is a fan of reading paragraphs and ramblings. However, at the end of the day, heyrocketgirl at its core is a personal blog. This site will always be a reflection and an extension of my ever evolving self.
